Law enforcement have made public alarming video showing a motorist performing hazardous drifting maneuvers on a traffic circle during an illegal car meet, placing watching crowds at serious danger of harm.

An individual aged 23 from the local area received a 27-week prison sentence, deferred for 12 months, after admitting to dangerous driving.
In addition, the court issued a 12-month driving ban and mandated community service along with a behavioral course.

According to police officials, the video was filmed at an illegal car meet in Portsmouth on 28 December 2024, featuring the driver operating a pink BMW.

An officer commented: “Residents, drivers and our traffic officers have had enough with these groups of motorists thoughtlessly taking over streets and parking areas and we refuse to accept it.”
He added: “They are not only a total disturbance, but they also put participants and innocent bystanders at risk of serious injury.”
He finished: “We will continue to prosecute these individuals and I hope these recent cases act as a warning: you will face consequences.”
