LA Erupts in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Back-to-Back World Series Championship
The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local events included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy high.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to do this,” the star player remarked through an translator.
The parade route ended at the stadium, where the team emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and Ice Cube cruising a light blue vintage Cadillac around the field.
